Don’t know what’s overwhelmingly good about this city — with living cost this high, you have to work here to really have fun. Buy one thing that’s definitely better than China: freedom of information.
I can log into Facebook and twitter and WordPress here, but not in Guangzhou… Sad right? Why can’t they just standardize stuffs here?
Google sucked in China, but rocked hard here. I don’t get why the need for close-mind in this thriving country. You’re going international now, man! Be post of the world, information-wide too! Sheesh!

I forgot I can blog using my e-mail… Nevertheless, just so you guys know, I pissed off the teacher yesterday… She booted me out of the class because I was absent for 2 weeks and all of a sudden pops back out and tells her I’m not joining the class anymore.
I’d expect her to squeal about it, but he exploded (in a less powerful way, but she still did… With a big smile on her face).
Well, I did tell her that I might come to class occasionally but she wouldn’t let me do that. Seriously, how can you expect me to pay attention in Chinese class? I mean, I don’t even pay any attention during Malay language class… So freaking boring!!
And man! It’s university! I’m supposed to be able to come and go as I pleases! Damn it!

Overwhelming boredom

Guess what. 1st semester is Chinese class. So, every non-Chinese speakers have to learn Chinese from scratch. SO, I’m NOT some random guy from some foreign country that doesn’t speak Mandarin by default. I feel that I’m sticking out in class too much. Not just that, they use me like I’m a superman. You have to know, that 超人不会飞。 Thank you Jay Chou, for making that term popular.
On another note, I’m bored, terribly. Been playing a lot of DotA, in the laggy Malaysian Garena servers. Might one day challenge the local players, kinda excited for that.

At the airport

Now, for yet another time, I’m alone in the airport, KLIA. As the best airport in the world for the 3rd time in a row, you can’t really fault it for being over large and its lack of restaurant for non-passengers. I mean, come on — Eden and McD? Seriously, put another choice like Oldtown or Papa Rich won’t hurt right?

Another thing delayed! My schedule for university! From 13th to 22nd. GREAT! Shifted the flight to 22nd, at the cost of RM 84. Better than burning another RM 900 for a new ticket right? Let’s get lazy again! WOOHOO!

When a university keeps delaying its events or schedules, it gives you this insecurity. Makes you feel uncertain about the university. But when the university has a longer history than 3 Malaysia put together, I don’t know if I can really say anything about it.

Weekend

Grandma was SUPPOSED to go back to Ipoh on Friday. Sadly, dad gave her this Alzheimer’s medication which made her giddy and tidak berselera for the whole day. Mom told him a lot of times that the pill will do that to her. Dad’s being forgetful (early signs of Alzheimer? Or the short-term-memory-loss strain in my family). To make it worst, my aunt asks my grandma (who already is forgetful from Alzheimer) how many pills she normally have.

Guess what? Grandma remembers she had 2 a day. But not the part that it’s once in the morn and the other at night. So, she had 2 pills and we had to get her to the hospital just in case she had any serious tummy injury that we’re not aware of. She missed her train and had to be sent home the next afternoon by my uncle, and gave him the perfect reason to be off duty for Monday. Blah.

<< Dizzy the whole way there. Poring wastes from all her holes.

Recently, I noticed a bulge, quite a good size, below my right ear.
The first thing you’ll probably think is: “OMG some mosquito bit me.” From the looks of it, it is not red. Touch it and you can tell that it is deep under the skin. Press it and you can feel a slight pain.
I wanna know what the doctor says about it.

Do you remember how many time have you complimented that I’m smart/clever/good in [insert related subject here]? Do you also remember how I normally answer? “No la, I’m not very good. There’s always a higher mountain in the valley.”

If you ask me now, I’ll change my answer. These 2 days I have seen an advertisement saying:

以前，幸福很简单；现在，简单很幸福。

I have thoroughly feel the impact of this 2 lines of words in me. If I can, I’ll give you all my brains in exchange for a simple life. You can take all I have, I don’t care. All I want is some peace and quiet. I might be a monk someday, and you can call me stupid then. I’ll hit my head against some tree and still laugh it away. You can try and make the choices that I had to make all my life. None of them is easy, believe me. I really hope that a diagnosis can tell me that the tumour-y thing on my neck is cancer. Then at least I can have some peace and quiet. At least I can feel serenity. At least I have no more difficult pinch to be in. Maybe you’ll see me work in some restaurant someday after this. Maybe I’ll still be a doctor. Maybe I’ll be another front line soldiers bound to an early and easy death.

But Life is not about being easy. If it is, you would not have been human. You would have been some animal, or even a single-cell bacteria.

Who doesn’t like an easy life? Living off some pension or some meagre income, doing what you like in a very remote area.

I always wanted an exciting life. I think I’ve read too much fantasy books to judge that THAT is what I want in my life. I always thought my life would be colourful, hence I always liked to travel. Maybe I should look for a job that involves travel and learning new culture. If you find me in Malaysia in the next few weeks, I’ll probably have a Lion’s Club label somewhere on my body.

This wall of text can be our SPM exam hand-ins. I have been blabbering for far too long. Hope you enjoyed this little share of emotion, feeling and experience. See you some other time.

Insane day

A lot of things went on today. Such as plans of aborting the entire study plan. Rain fell for the whole damned day. I guess I’ll have to get another shoe soon. Might want to get a PSP (its like RM 500 cracked and psp-3000) or a good phone with 3G OR iPad 2 with 3G plan. Don’t ask me for more pics… I’ll try to get more in SOON. When I don’t feel tired (i.e. more mood).

For now, just make do with this.
